No apologies. No “I’m still hustling” posts. No curated sunset dumps to keep the algorithm happy. Just actual rest, actual life and actual sleep!
Because here’s the thing; The Tribe is built by real humans. Humans with families, dreams and ambitions that stretch beyond the marina. Humans who give everything to create magic on the water for six intense months every year. Humans who are in the marina every day, for those 6 months, from 7am until midnight, often longer. And after season ’25 and those crazy early mornings, the super late nights, the constant flow of guests, music, celebrations, and unforgettable moments – those same humans that create that magic, need to time to create their own too.
So we took a proper break and this is where we’ve been.
While most of us scattered, Marc stayed on the island, taking things slowly and keeping the winter boat bookings running. (Yes, some people do still want boats in winter - have you seen the weather here this December? WOW!). He's been back in the gym to regain some of that infamous muscle power and supporting Maria with a very special project, coming in 2026.
Our co-founder traded the Mediterranean for mountain lakes, keeping close to water obviously - just higher than she's ever been in Ibiza! Emily's been in the Himalayas, soaking in a different kind of magic and preparing for something very special: a unique Tribe Experience in Nepal in November '26.
First stop in the winter travels for Victor, Joel, Dani, and Felix was Paris – Dani is half French so home from home for him – kind of! Lucky Paris, right? Our young captains exploring the world when they’re not navigating Ibiza’s coastline is what we love to see. Before going their separates ways, to different countries, they’ve been soaking up culture and probably drinking too much wine – together. Solid friends as well as solid captains.
Victor’s now back in Barcelona continuing his studies – now pursuing his master’s in Naval Engineering. Watching our captains grow, learn, and push themselves to be the very best they can be on the water, while still being the heart beat of The Tribe in summer – is precious. How proud are we? Beyond words.
Sophie’s been spending quality time with her mini-me and celebrating another year around the sun. Being a mum is a full-time job that doesn’t pause for summer seasons or winter breaks, and we’re grateful she’s had this time to just be present with her little one.
If only! Not our Soph, who isn’t too comfortable with resting. As well as being Mum to Mila, Soph has been busy launching her new podcast ‘Once Upon A Dance Floor’ – which focuses on her 3 favourite things; dancing, talking and of course, being mum.
Our slightly more mature captain has been heads down in the library, prepping for his bigger-boat exams. David's been putting in the hours, studying for certifications that'll will mean he can captain our bigger boats. And guess what? He smashed it! Of course he did. We couldn't be prouder. Now the task of working out who will skipper each boat in 2026.
Giselle cleans every single Tribe boat, from top to bottom, every day, for six months a year. And she does it before most people leave Amnesia. If anyone on this planet deserves a proper lay-in and some well-earned rest, it's her. She's been taking it easy, recharging, and preparing to make our boats sparkle again come spring.
Our four-legged Tribe crew member has been keeping the sunsets in check and reminding us all what's really important: good company, warm evenings, and the simple joy of being present.
Maria's been flexing her interior design magic on a very special project. We can't say too much yet, but let's just say something exciting is taking shape. Watch this space.
..rested, recharged and busy preparing for season ’26.
The boats are getting plenty of love, the plans are coming together, the magic is already building and bookings for 2026 are live and kicking.
The Tribe magic never stops – it just takes a well-deserved siesta.
Want to be part of the magic in 2026? Book your boat day online or drop Emily a message on WhatsApp.
See you on the water soon.
